Portugal and Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has identified two major targets for the next phase of his career: helping Portugal win the UEFA Nations League and reaching 1,000 career goals.
The Portugal captain made his ambitions clear as he continues to pursue further success at both international and individual level.
In a post by Fabrizio Romano on X on Wednesday, he was quoted as saying, “The missions now are two: winning the Nations League and reaching 1,000 career goals,” Ronaldo said.
Ronaldo has already enjoyed a remarkable career with Portugal, winning major international honours and becoming one of the most prolific goalscorers in football history.
The forward’s pursuit of 1,000 career goals would add another significant milestone to an already record-filled career.
