Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed India’s 7.8% GDP growth in the first quarter of FY27 as a “herculean feat”, saying the economy delivered strong growth despite oil price shocks, supply chain disruptions and global uncertainties.Reacting to the latest GDP figures, Modi said the collective strength of Indians had helped the country maintain strong economic momentum amid challenges facing the global economy.
