RSS Pledges Full Support for Inter-Faith Harmony and Sustained Religious Dialogue

Addressing a gathering, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that humanity's foundational reality is unity, while perceived differences are temporary illusions. Bhagwat noted that traditional knowledge across all societies recognises oneness and love, but a framework must be established so this knowledge guides human behavior and shapes public policy. Commenting on governance, Bhagwat remarked, "politics has now become a game of self-interest," adding that solutions lie in collective thinking rather than individual interests.

He asserted that political action alone cannot drive societal transformation because modern politics relies heavily on public opinion. Bhagwat shared the experience of RSS swayamsevaks who run over 1.3 lakh service projects across Bharat without seeking political returns or public acclaim. Citing an incident during a mid-air plane collision over Dadri, Haryana, he stated that volunteers provided selfless assistance to victims without considering religious backgrounds.

He called for building local models of selfless service and pursuing continuous dialogue across all administrative levels to foster long-term global change.
