India declares Shahzad Bhatti Network a terrorist organisation under UAPA

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has declared the Shahzad Bhatti Network a terrorist organisation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), according to the inputs. The network is described as a Pakistan-based terror-gangster ecosystem allegedly backed by Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI and involved in attempts to recruit Indians through social media and carry out attacks across the country.Shahzad Bhatti, described as a Pakistani-origin gangster, is alleged to be the key face of the network.
