'Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold': Oasis announce 38 new dates for global tour in 2027

"Today is gonna be the day..." Fans of the Manchester rock band get an eagerly anticipated fresh round of shows, after their massive Oasis: Live '25 reunion tour...

It's a good day to be an Oasis fan. Especially for those who missed out on getting tickets for their 2025 reunion tour and for those who happen to live in mainland Europe. Following last year's sold-out Live '25 tour, which spanned the UK, Canada, US, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, South Korea, Japan and Australia, the recently reformed Britpop band has announced a whole set of new tour dates. A total of 38 new shows, to be precise, kicking off next May with five nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park, before a impressive 11 gigs / borderline residency at Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

That will be followed by dates across mainland Europe with multiple stops in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Rome, and Paris – the latter being the city where the band split in 2009, during Rock en Seine festival. The tour will conclude back in the UK with the band returning to the site of legendary ’90s gigs at Knebworth.Scroll down for the full list of tour dates announced.“ START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!,” the band shared in a statement.

“After a period of reflection ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people,” they continued. Oasis added: “Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.” For tickets, fans must register before Thursday 17 September at 5pm CET here. The Paris dates had already leaked ahead of the official announcement, with promotional posters and banners spotted in Parisian metro stations...

The band, who reformed for the successful Live ’25 tour last year following their split in 2009, had teased the announcement several times - including on Friday (11 September) with a drone light show over the Joie Stadium, Manchester. The display lit up the band’s logo before replacing it with the date 14/09/26. Now, fans will be hoping that there won't be as much controversy this time around when it comes to ticket sales.

Oasis fans were hit with inflated ticket prices for their UK and Ireland shows for the Live '25 tour, with many having to pay more than double face value. Ticketing company Ticketmaster was accused of using dynamic pricing - a frustrating algorithmic strategy where prices surge in response to higher demand. The new tour dates come a week after the release of a new documentary, Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger.Written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and co-directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, the part concert film / part documentary features the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in more than 20 years.

In Euronews Culture's review of Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger, we wrote: " As a rousing concert film and a love letter to Oasis fans, Don’t Look Back In Anger gets a lot right, capturing the euphoria the band has generated with their unlikely comeback. (...) As a meaningful chronicle of how the comeback came to be and what it represents, it’s not quite biblical. Don’t Look Back In Anger is frustrating in the way it glosses over all the juicy stuff and skirts the irresistible narrative of how two bickering brothers went from repeatedly calling each other twats to publicly reconciliating."
