Israeli forces carried out air strikes, heavy artillery attacks
and what Lebanese state media described as phosphorus shelling
across several areas of southern Lebanon on Sunday and early
Saturday.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that heavy Israeli
artillery fire struck the town of Mansouri, the area around Bayt
al-Sayyad and the outskirts of Majdal Zoun early Saturday.

The agency also reported extensive Israeli attacks overnight in
Mansouri, Majdal Zoun and Bayt al-Sayyad, with significant damage
to residential buildings.

According to NNA, homes in Bayt al-Sayyad suffered widespread
destruction, with the agency reporting that no house in the town
was left undamaged.

Explosions were also reported in Hadatha, Beit Yahoun and Aita
al-Jabal, while Israeli forces allegedly directed machine-gun fire
toward nearby valleys.

Israeli drones continued flying over villages and towns across
the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon, according to
the Lebanese state news agency.
